Marshcroft Lodge and The Coffee Mill Cottage are adjacent properties located about 3 miles east of downtown La Pointe and the ferry landing. They share a sandy beach and a 70' dock on Lake Superior across Middle Road from the buildings. They are also located on the west shore of Chebomnicon Creek Lagoon, a peaceful and interesting natural wonder. Access the beach is over a low bank across some rocks. The view is extraordinary, a sunrise/moonrise view across miles of lake to the Gogebic Mountains on the horizon.

Each property has a gas grill, picnic table and outdoor fire ring. We supply clean linens and towels, dishes and kitchenware, a DVD/VCR player and comfortable, relatively new mattresses. We supply an assortment of indoor furnishings, books and puzzles, but do not provide outdoor furniture, beach toys, blankets, bicycles, boats or games. TV reception is nonexistent and we do not have cable. Internet service is available with your own 800 number connection. We enjoy helping La Pointe recycle, so please separate garbage from plastic, metal and paper using the containers we provide. We do allow approved pets; please keep them under control and be responsible.

Please let us know immediately if any damage is apparent when you check in or develops during your stay. We want to know of any problems and also of any suggestions you may have to aid guests who follow your stay. Please be careful to extinguish any outdoor fires and respect the property and goodwill of our neighbors
